【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodsdescribetwotechniquesformeasuringairleakageratesthroughabuildingenvelopeinbuildingsthatmaybeconfiguredtoasinglezone.Bothtechniquesuseanorificeblowerdoortoinducepressuredifferencesacrossthebuildingenvelopeandtomeasurethosepressuredifferencesandtheresultingairflows.Themeasurementsofpressuredifferencesandairflowsareusedtodetermineairtightnessandotherleakagecharacteristicsoftheenvelope.1.2Thesetestmethodsallowtestingunderdepressurizationandpressurization.1.3Thesetestmethodsareapplicabletosmallindoor-outdoortemperaturedifferentialsandlowwindpressureconditions;theuncertaintyinthemeasuredresultsincreaseswithincreasingwindspeedsandtemperaturedifferentials.1.4Thesetestmethodsdonotmeasureairchangerateundernormalconditionsofweatherandbuildingoperation.Tomeasureairchangeratedirectly,useTestMethodsE741.1.5Thetextofthesetestmethodsreferencenotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes,excludingthoseintablesandfigures,shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForspecifichazardstatementsseeSection7.
