【摘要】:Crudepetroleumcontainssulfurcompounds,mostofwhichareremovedduringrefining.However,ofthesulfurcompoundsremaininginthepetroleumproduct,somecanhaveacorrodingactiononvariousmetals,includingcopper,andthiscorrosivityisnotnecessarilyrelatedtothetotalsulfurcontent.Theeffectcanvaryaccordingtothechemicaltypesofsulfurcompoundspresent.Thiscopperfoilstripcorrosiontestisdesignedtoassesstherelativedegreeofcorrosivityofapetroleumproducttowardscopperandcopper-containingalloysusingashortertestdurationthanthatspecifiedinTestMethodD130.Somesulfurspeciesmaybecomecorrosivetocopperonlyathighertemperatures.Thus,highertesttemperatures,particularly100x00B0;C(212x00B0;F),maybeusedtotestsomeproductsbythepressurevesselprocedure.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecorrosivenesstocopperofaviationgasoline,aviationturbinefuel,automotivegasoline,naturalgasoline,orotherhydrocarbonshavingavaporpressurenogreaterthan124kPa(18psi),cleaners(forexample,Stoddardsolvent),kerosine,dieselfuel,distillatefueloil,lubricatingoil,andotherpetroleumproducts.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see1.1,6.1,andAnnexA2.
