【摘要】:1.1Thisperformancespecificationcoverstextilematerialstobeusedforprotectiveclothing.1.2Materialsusedforbothprimaryprotectionandforsecondaryprotectionarecovered.1.3Protectivepropertiesrelatetocontactwithmoltensubstancesandhotsurfaces,andexposuretoopenflameandradiantheat.1.4Thisperformancespecificationcoversclothingdesigncharacteristicsthatrelatetotheuniqueprotectiverequirementsofworkingwithmoltensubstances.1.5Thisperformancespecificationdescribesthepropertiesofspecifictextilematerialsintheirfabricorgarmentcompositeformastestedbylaboratorymethodsandisnotintendedtobeusedtoappraisethethermalhazardorfireriskunderactualconditions.However,informationonthethermalperformanceofclothingmadefromtextilematerialsconformingtothisspecificationmaybeusedasanelementinthermalriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallfactorspertinenttothethermalhazardofaparticularenduse.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
