【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60793establishesuniformrequirementsformeasuringthechromaticdispersionofopticalfibre,therebyassistingintheinspectionoffibresandcablesforcommercialpurposes.Fourmethodsaredescribedformeasuringchromaticdispersion:-methodA:phaseshift;-methodB:spectralgroupdelayinthetimedomain;-methodC:differentialphaseshift;-methodD:interferometry.MethodsA,BandCapplytothemeasurementofchromaticdispersionofthefollowingfibresoveraspecifiedwavelengthrange:-classA1graded-indexmultimodefibres;-classBsingle-modefibres(allcategories).MethodDappliestothemeasurementofchromaticdispersionvaluesofsingle-modefibrescategoriesB1toB3inthe1000nmto1700nmwavelengthrange.Themethodscanbeappliedtolaboratory,factoryandfieldmeasurementsofchromaticdispersion,andthewavelengthrangeofthemeasurementscanbetailoredasrequired.MeasurementsaremadeattemperaturesasstatedinIEC60793-1-1.Themethodsaresuitableforfibreorcablelengthsgreaterthan1km.Theymayalsobeappliedtoshorterlengths,butaccuracyandrepeatabilitymaybecompromised.MethodDisthepreferredmethodforshorterpiecefibres(1mto10m).Informationcommontoallthreemethodsiscontainedinclauses1to8,andinformationpertainingtoeachindividualmethodappearsinannexesA,B,CandD,respectively.
