【摘要】:ThisclassificationsystemprovidesamethodofadequatelyidentifyingPTFEmicropowdersusingasystemconsistentwiththatofClassificationSystemD4000.Itfurtherprovidesameansforspecifyingthesematerialsbytheuseofasimplelinecalloutdesignation.Thisclassificationcoversfluoropolymermicropowdersthatareusedaslubricantsandasadditivestoothermaterialsinordertoimprovelubricityortocontrolothercharacteristicsofthebasematerial.Thesepowdersaresometimesknownaslubricantpowders.Thepowdersusuallyhaveamuchsmallerparticlesizethanthoseusedformoldingorextrusion,andtheygenerallyarenotprocessedalone.Thetestmethodsandpropertiesincludedarethoserequiredtoidentifyandspecifythevarioustypesoffluoropolymermicropowders.Recycledfluoropolymermaterialsmeetingthedetailedrequirementsofthisclassificationareincluded(seeGuideD5033).Thesemicropowdersandthematerialsdesignatedasfillerpowders(F)inISO12086-1andISO12086-2areequivalent.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsasdetailedinIEEE/ASTMSI10aretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregivenin7.1.2.
